Council Family Campout a Big Success

Everyone had a great time at the second Council 10765 Family Campout held this year on the weekend of July 18. This year the setting was Brother Bruce cabin located in the scenic Hocking Hills area.                                            

Campers pitched their tents in the lawn area around the cabin. Activities            included fishing, hiking, canoeing, hot tubing and target shooting. On Saturday Bruce prepared a scrumptious meal of smoked turkey and smoked beef brisket. Friday and Saturday evenings ended with good conversation around a camp     fire and, of course, roasting marshmallows.                                                         

Thank you to Bruce and his family and we look forward to the next campout.
